Sihanoukville - communication towers. Telecommunications in Cambodia include telephone, radio, television, and Internet services, which are regulated by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.
Telecom Cambodia and Camnet Internet Service, the country's principal telecom operator and internet service provider, function under the jurisdiction of the Ministry. The main office is situated at the former site of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Phnom Penh, destroyed by the Khmer Rouge in 1975.
The data is sourced from the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia, and covers updates from January 2022 to August 2025. Open Development Cambodia organization (ODC) has converted this data from a PDF format to a CSV tabular format, making it accessible for free download in both Khmer and English.
Today, with the availability of mobile phones, communications are open to all, though the country's former Prime Minister Hun Sen decreed that 3G mobile phones would not be allowed to support video calling. As of Q1 2020, Cambodia's mobile connection is at 21.4 million.
