The Solarcontainer is a photovoltaic power plant that was specially developed as a mobile power generator with collapsible PV modules as a mobile solar system, a grid-independent solution represents. SolarCont GmbH was created through a cooperation between the two successful companies Hilber Solar GmbH from beautiful Tyrol and the company Gföllner Fahrzeugbau und Containertechnik GmbH, which is deeply rooted in Upper Austria. This cooperation makes it possible to develop a completely new type of mobile solar system.
Based on an average power consumption of a 4-person household of 4000 kWh per year and a location in Southern Germany, the solar container can supply approx. 32 households with climate-friendly electricity. At a location in Southern Europe it can even be up to 50 households due to the high solar radiation.
At President Container our commitment to sustainability is paramount. We are certified through the internationally recognized Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) program. It is one of the fastest-growing forest certification programs with more than 250 million acres of SFI-certified forests in North America.
